
Dominic Purcell joins Paradise Lost
The actor will portray Jeehamel, an angel who is persuaded to join the evil Lucifer (Bradley Cooper). He eventually becomes the devil's right-hand man under the new moniker Moloch. Benjamin Walker portrays the archangel Michael, who wages an all-out war with Lucifer over who will control heaven. Djimon Hounsou, Casey Affleck, Camilla Belle, and Callan McAuliffe also star.
Alex Proyas is directing Paradise Lost from a screenplay by Ryan Condal, Stuart Hazeldine, Philip de Blasi, Lawrence Kasdan, and Byron Willinger. The project is adapted from John Milton's 17th century epic poem.
It isn't known when production will start on Paradise Lost.
Paradise Lost is in development and stars Bradley Cooper, Benjamin Walker, Djimon Hounsou, Casey Affleck, Camilla Belle, Callan McAuliffe, Dominic Purcell, Diego Boneta. The film is directed by Alex Proyas.

I totally opened this page to knock dominic p but now that i see its a proyas film i bite my tongue. Alex proyas usually delivers so I'll trust his judgment for the time being.

I like how despite how inspiring Milton's poem is, that it is sparsely based on biblical texts for his own inspiration, but rather, his own preferences. Isn't it great how your own personal vision of Hell can come to be accepted by billions 4 centuries later?
