BBC has released a new trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special, entitled The Doctor, The Widow, and The Wardrobe, which doesn't have a specific air date locked down yet. Click on the video player below for your first look at this holiday special, which borrows quite a few elements from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

The Christmas Special stars Matt Smith as the Doctor. Evacuated to a house in Dorset from war-torn London, Madge Arwell and her two children, Lily and Cyril, are greeted by a madcap caretaker whose mysterious Christmas gift leads them into a magical wintry world.
