'Disney's Planes' El Chupacabra Digital Short

Celebrate Takeoff Tuesdays with a look at Carlos Alazraqui's Mexican racing legend in director Klay Hall's August comedy.
Walt Disney Pictures announced today it is launching "Takeoff Tuesday's" in conjunction with their upcoming animated comedy Disney's Planes. Each week, fans will be treated to a new short that highlights one of the characters in this Cars spin-off. The series is taking off today with a profile on Mexican racing legend El Chupacabra, voiced by Carlos Alazraqui (Reno 911!). Take a look at the first video in this series, and keep checking back every Tuesday for more profiles.


Starting today, Disney.com is celebrating "Takeoff Tuesdays" featuring exclusive digital shorts inspired by Disney's upcoming animated film, Disney's Planes. Disney's Planes is an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty's not exactly built for racing-and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty's courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.
