Disney's a Christmas Carol Trailer Is Here!

Disney has officially unveiled the trailer for their upcoming animated take on the classic Charles Dicken's tale of A Christmas Carol. Tae a look!

A Christmas Carol, a multi-sensory thrill ride re-envisioned by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis, captures the fantastical essence of the classic Dickens tale in a groundbreaking 3D motion picture event.

Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late.

In theaters November 6th, A Christmas Carol stars Jim Carrey, Cary Elwes, Bob Hoskins, Colin Firth, Gary Oldman, Robin Wright Penn, Tom Hanks and Michael J. Fox.

Disney's a Christmas Carol was released November 6th, 2009 and stars Jim Carrey, Steve Valentine, Daryl Sabara, Sage Ryan, Amber Gainey Meade, Ryan Ochoa, Bobbi Page, Ron Bottitta. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis.

Moviemaniak. Most trailers use scores from other films. That's a given.

Anyway, I'm not sure i like the slapstick that this version is appearing to be. Defiantly not the best trailer made this year, but, its ACC. How will I NOT see this movie? :P

They stole so many scores in the trailer. The whole opening is from The Omen (2006). And I saw this trailer way back when Public Enemies came out.

Why does the animation need work???

Good Lord, people said the same thing with Polar Express and then on Beowulf.......Obviously you people just aren't getting it! ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE 100% PHOTOREALISTIC. This type of animation requires exaggerated physical features and a slight cartoonish feel! Thats the whole point! Its not trying to achieve what films like Avatar, for example, are trying to do, where they create entirely digital characters that look 100% photorealistic.

Looks great, perfect holiday movie! Also, the film has an incredible cast! Looking forward to it.
