Disney and Pixar announce two new movies
The first of these new animated movies will be directed by Bob Peterson, the man who helmed Up for Disney and Pixar back in 2009. While it doesn't have a title yet, this new adventure will look at our modern world as though dinosaurs never went extinct. It is already set with a November 27th, 2013 release date.
The second untitled project announced comes from director Pete Docter. It plans to take viewers inside the human mind. No other plot details were discussed. It will come to theaters on May 30th of 2014.

no i meant Theodore Rex, not Dinosaur or We're Back the reason being that Theodore Rex is a punch line and the other two aren't kind of the way, say, if i had a bad meal i'd say "this is the Ishtar of meals" not "this is the Maid in Manhattan of meals" even though Isthar is technically better than Maid in Manhattan, it's just a better punch line

@bawnian-dexeus I vaguely remember We're Back. But still, Pixar on Dinosaurs? Could be as epic as the first Land Before Time.

In regards to their Dino idea, dunno why but I just thought about it already being done (We're Back!). But that was an entirely different situation, am I making any sense?

I'm already looking forward to the first one. A Pixar dinosaur movie from the director of Up? Sign me up (no pun intended). As for the second, that has potential as well, since Docter also worked on Up, but damn...that first film is just a great combination. DINOSAURS. Gotta love 'em haha

@moviegeek Good idea! :P That'd be a cool cameo, though he is a toy so I doubt it lol

I wonder if Rex from Toy Story would make a funny cameo in the dinosaur one haha.

"this new adventure will look at our modern world as though dinosaurs never went extinct"--Already sounds like it can be a masterpiece, easily.
"
It plans to take viewers inside the human mind."--This second one could be great as well. We'll see more on that!
Both of these will be great! I LOVE Pixar.

@moviegeek Agreed, man. This sounds more like the Pixar we expect, not lame sequels to lame franchises.

All hail Pixar. I cherish everything they produce, yes even Cars. What's not to like about them? They make incredible, funny, emotional movies with amazing animation. Pixar's the only one we can rely on.

I adore Pixar - they may just be my favourite studio. Have seen every Pixar movie since 'Toy Story'. These two new films sound incredible - as per usual. I await them with bated breath.

Excellent. Two animated films that no other studio would ever be able to create. This is the Pixar I know and love.
