Walt Disney Pictures has bought the spec script of Joe D'Ambrosia and Tom Teves, Mother of Invention.

The family comedy is loosely based on a real-life spy who also is a San Francisco single soccer mom with two kids and a nanny. The Hollyood Reporter adds her kids do not know she is a spy, and she plans to retire by the time the movie comes out.

The two writers met the real woman at a party, and knew they had to write a script. There's no production schedule yet for Mother of Invention.
