Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest isn't out until next week and it's continuing to make waves in the DVD world.

In a story from The Digital Bits, it seems that a rumor about a possible 3 disc version of the blockbuster hit was scheduled for next May.

After doing a little bit of research, The Bits confirmed with Disney that there is only one version (the one that comes out December 5) planned.

That said, one can expect Disney to release a set containing all three films once Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (which opens May 2007) finishes it's theatrical run.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest was released July 7th, 2006 and stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Jack Davenport, Bill Nighy, Jonathan Pryce, Lee Arenberg, Mackenzie Crook. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski.
