Disney Bringing Brother Bear 2 Straight-To-Video

Disney has decided that their next direct-to-DVD film will be a sequel to the highly successful Brother Bear.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, the studio will be putting out Brother Bear 2, the sequel to their 2003 hit which pulled in $85.3 at the box-office. The DVD is scheduled to hit shelves on August 29.

According to the story, Koda will once again be voiced by Jeremy Suarez and the popular comedy team of Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas will again be the voices of Rutt and Tuke.

Melissa Etheridge will provide three original songs.

Brother Bear was released October 24th, 2003 and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Jeremy Suarez, Jason Raize, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas, D.B. Sweeney, Joan Copeland, Michael Clarke Duncan. The film is directed by Aaron Blaise, Robert Walker.

    The 3 songs Melissa Etheridge provides for this DVD are excellent. Once again she has left the critics speechless. When will they learn that she is an artist/writer/musician and a loving, sharing parent? She's shouldn't be judged by her sexuality or anything for all that matters!
