Universal Pictures picks up Dirty Grandpa
Universal Pictures has made a preemptive purchase of the comedy spec script Dirty Grandpa.

John Phillips wrote the script, which centers on a sexually active grandfather who embarks on a road trip with his straight-laced grandson. This is the first script deal for Phillips, a New York writer from the Upright Citizen's Brigade theater.

Barry Josephson (Life as We Know It) will produce the comedy. No production schedule was given.
