I hate the vibe it gives off, with some of the one-liners and music choice, but it does definitely have some potential.

juno appears to do well, but outside of that this is nothing short of a cookie cutter movie straight from the world of Cliche-ville. gay best friend, parent issues, divorce, promiscuous teen looking for attention, typical "adults are self righteous, clueless idiots", teen finding herself (themselves) in a road trip, blah blah blah.

It's up to the director pull the performances out of the characters. I believe Nolan can do it.
