Universal Pictures and Working Title has signed a two-picture deal with Atonement director Joe Wright. According to Variety, Dreamworks is also attached to Wright's next film, The Soloist.

Before Wright became a directing sensation, he was a successful small screen director in the U.K. Wright's debut film; Pride & Prejudice which received four Academy Award nomination's including Best Picture. The talented Keira Knightley has starred in both of Wright's critically acclaimed films.

Wright's masterpiece, Atonement has currently been nominated for seven Academy Awards.

Atonement was released December 7th, 2007 and stars Saoirse Ronan, Ailidh Mackay, Brenda Blethyn, Julia West, James McAvoy, Harriet Walter, Keira Knightley, Juno Temple. The film is directed by Joe Wright.

The Soloist was released April 24th, 2009 and stars Jamie Foxx, Robert Downey Jr., Catherine Keener, Tom Hollander, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Nelsan Ellis, Rachael Harris, Stephen Root. The film is directed by Joe Wright.

Pride & Prejudice was released November 11th, 2005 and stars Keira Knightley, Talulah Riley, Rosamund Pike, Jena Malone, Carey Mulligan, Donald Sutherland, Brenda Blethyn, Claudie Blakley. The film is directed by Joe Wright.
