Diego Luna to Join Up with Sean Penn for Milk
The magazine is reporting that Mexican actor Diego Luna will portray Jack Lira, Milk's supporter and lover. Luna joins a cast on the biopic that includes topliner Penn along with Josh Brolin, Emile Hirsch, James Franco, Victor Garber, Denis O'Hare, and Stephen Spinella.
Harvey Milk was the first openly gay man to be elected to a public office in America in 1977, when he was elected to San Francisco's city supervisors board. He was murdered, along with the San Francisco mayor, by another city supervisor, Dan White.
The film is being directed by Gus Van Sant.

Diego Luna is a good actor! He still hasn't found "THE" role to break through, this may be it! I loved him in "Y tu mamá también"!
