Bruce Willis confirms Die Hard 6 is in the works
"Yes."
It isn't known if A Good Day to Die Hard director John Moore will return to the helm, or if writer Skip Woods will be back to craft the screenplay. Since A Good Day to Die Hard takes place in Russia, it makes one wonder what international locale John McClane will end up in Die Hard 6, or if he will be back in New York.
It is also possible that John McClane could go on an adventure with both of his children, Jai Courtney's Jack McClane and Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Lucy McClane. Mary Elizabeth Winstead appeared in 2007's Live Free or Die Hard as Lucy, and makes a brief appearance in A Good Day to Die Hard as well.
We should also mention that, back in 2010, Bruce Willis revealed that John McClane will retire after Die Hard 6, turning the franchise over to another actor. It's possible that Jai Courtney may take the reins as Jack, keeping the franchise in the McClane family.
Die Hardest comes to theaters in 2015 and stars Bruce Willis.

They should bring back Matthew Farrel in the 6th one. While they were starting on making the 5th, they were talking about keeping him in it, he even said he would like to be in the 5th, but they left him out. They could add him in the 6th and write the story to where another crime happens caused by someone who Farrel knew and he helped him out with something without knowing he was gonna use it for bad, and John needs his help to stop him.

I would like to see 6 bring the series to a close. Set it at Christmas, bring back Bonny Bedelia and cameos from some other familiar faces, and call it Die Hardest. (I like Old Habits Die Hard as well, and it fits nicely for a final film).
Is John McTiernan out of jail? Get him back to direct. He made the two best films in the series.

That's good to hear but please for the love of god make the 6th one be at least 2 hours... the new one clocks in at 1 hour and 38 minutes.... yeah it still may be good but come on John McClane deserves more screen time than an hour and a half....

I hope they don't give the reigns over to Jai Courtney, I mean, come on! Bruce Willis is the only reason why anyone would see a Die Hard film. If he plans on retiring, so should the series.
