Die Hard 5 Eyes Joe Cornish and Justin Lin

20th Century Fox seeks director for Die Hard 5
20th Century Fox seeks director for Die Hard 5
The hottest directorial gig in Hollywood right now is Die Hard 5, and 20th Century Fox is aiming at a potential list of hopefuls that includes Joe Cornish (Attack the Block), Justin Lin (Fast Five), John Moore (Max Payne), and Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive).

Noam Murro was the studio's first choice to the helm the further adventures of bad luck cop John McClane, but he took the sequel 300: Battle of Artemisia instead of opting to work with Bruce Willis.

Die Hard 5 will find John McClane navigating the rough terrain of Russia, once again in the wrong place at the wrong time. The early favorite for the job is John Moore, who has worked solely for 20th Century Fox during his long career, helming both The Omen remake and Flight of the Phoenix remake for the studio in recent years.

An official announcement on who will direct Die Hard 5 is expected soon.

A Good Day to Die Hard was released February 14th, 2013 and stars Bruce Willis, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jai Courtney, Yuliya Snigir, Patrick Stewart, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Cole Hauser, Anne Vyalitsyna. The film is directed by John Moore.

john moore is a horrible choice, I havent seen drive, haven't seen attack the block, and justion lin is a fantastic action director who I think has the chops to helm the next film.

seriously ..what is with this JustinLin obsession? is it really the fast furious movies that make him hot sh*t. Not trying to be a dick or anything...but i just dont understand the track record, or in my opinion...the lack of a track record, for so many people to want him directing more films. Not saying he is a bad director or wouldnt do a good job, I just dont get the whole justinlin craze right now. sincere apologies if i offended anyone.
