@moviegeek The sequel was very different. The first was about trying to fit in a new school while the second one dealt with family matters. I didn't think it was too bad, but it wasn't as "good" as the first for sure.

Call me crazy, but I actually kinda like these movies. I don't think they're all bad. It's take match the coming-of-age movies from the 80s and 90s like The Goonies or The Sandlot, but they try and they don't do too bad a job. Watch with movies with a grain of salt and an open mind and you'll see.
