Torque director Joseph Kahn is back with the horror comedy Detention, which stars Dane Cook as the principle of a school whose prom is threatened by a serial killer.     I saw this at the Seattle International Film Festival on Fri. And I am going to see a second screening of the film tonight. DETENTION is one of the best movies I have seen this year. Yeah, the trailer makes it look like a clusterf*ck of movie genres but the story is so well structed that it works! Go see it for yourselves before assuming it sucks just bc there are aliens in the trailer.

    @Bawnian - Lol, I would agree with you except few things have pissed me off more than that stupid, god-damn Prii Ad. I mean that ad is so friggin annoying that I would literally walk up to whichever jerk-off made it and punch him in the face.

    But yeah, this movie is going to absolutely horrific. I turned the trailer off about halfway through, which says something about the movie if you cant even make it through the damn trailer!
