Toho, the Japanese company that created the iconic monster Godzilla, has launched a new website at Godzilla.jp for the upcoming remake starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen. This website allows users to control Godzilla and destroy an innocent city, complete with sound effects. While the right arrow key moves the monster, fans will have to discover the secret key that unleashes Godzilla's fire-breathing fury. Here's a hint, it's the first letter in the title. Click on the image below to check out this website for yourself as we celebrate Godzilla's 60th Anniversary heading into the new year. (Does the website's official logo hint that Mothra will be making an appearance on screens this summer?)
Godzilla comes to theaters May 16th, 2014 and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, Richard T. Jones, Sally Hawkins. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards.
