Denzel Washington Is Unstoppable
The dramatic film will be directed by Tony Scott and released by 20th Century Fox.
The film is about a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. It pits an engineer (Washington) and his conductor in a race against time. They're chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a town.
Mark Bomback wrote the screenplay which is based on real events.
Unstoppable will be the fifth project for Washington and Tony Scott. Their other films include Crimson Tide, Deja Vu, Man on Fire, and they recently completed The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3.
Unstoppable is set to start shooting this fall.
Unstoppable was released November 12th, 2010 and stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson, Ethan Suplee, Kevin Dunn, Kevin Corrigan, Kevin Chapman, Lew Temple. The film is directed by Tony Scott.

Bad idea for a movie, Denzel must need money. I feel like this plot has been done for Sci-Fi before.

I agree with Happyjack. The plot sounds unoriginal to say the least, and it will probably have the same old feel to it. I want something new, Mr. Scott. And yess, I'm talking bout Tony, not Ridley.

THIS REMINDS ME OF THIS FILM WHERE A BUS HAD TO SPEED AROUND A CITY & IF ITS SPEED DROPED BELOW 50MPH, IT WOULD EXPLODE. I THINK IT WAS CALLED THE BUS THAT COULDNT SLOW DOWN. DENZEL IS A FINE ACTOR, JUST THINK HE MAKES TO MANY OF THESE YYPE OF FILMS, ONES THAT ARE JUST THERE.
