Dennis Quaid, Ziyi Zhang, and Jonas Akerlund have joined the production of the drama, The Horsemen for Mandate Pictures.

Quaid and Zhang to star, while Akerlund is set to direct; David Callahan wrote the script nearly four nears ago. Variety reports Quaid will play a bitter detective grieving over his wife's recent death. While investigating a case, he discovers a shocking connection between himself and the suspects in a serial killing spree linked to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The Horsemen has no production schedule.
