David Tennant Leaves 'Doctor Who'!

The British actor is departing the popular BBC series.
It seems one popular British series will be searching for a new lead in 2010. According to Yahoo, Doctor Who's David Tennant is leaving the beloved BBC series after 2010.

Tennant will portray the title character for a Christmas episode and four additional hour-long episodes in 2009 and early 2010. However, the actor said that when the series returns for a full season in 2010, "it won't be with me."

"This show has been so special to me," Tennant said. "I don't want to outstay my welcome."

It isn't clear who will replace Tennant as of yet, or if a search to re-cast this doctor who can regenerate into a new body has begun.

Yea i think he was pretty good!.. Though.. I always remember (Something) Baker as the first Doctor I saw as Dr. Who! In some episode where a hand was found and it grew into some humanoid looking woman creature!

This is really sad news. The tenth Doctor was one of my favorites.

It's going to be hard for the next Doctor to compete.
