The Adventures of Joe Dirt is coming to TV
In a story with Variety, actor/comic David Spade has put together a deal with TBS to create an animated series based on the character from his 2001 comedy, The Adventures of Joe Dirt.

The project will be produced via Sony Pictures TV and Happy Madison Productions.

The Adventures of Joe Dirt followed a big hearted loser who has very bad hair and loves muscle cars.

The script for the animated series will be penned by Spade, Fred Wolf and Donick Carey (The Simpsons). Spade and Wolf initially co-wrote the Joe Dirt feature film for Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison.

Joe Dirt was released April 11th, 2001 and stars David Spade, Brittany Daniel, Dennis Miller, Adam Beach, Christopher Walken, Jaime Pressly, Kid Rock, Erik Per Sullivan. The film is directed by Dennie Gordon.

    I wish he would run for President, this world would be a better place. Good job David Spade, You hit it! Awesome actor. These are the kid of people we need in our government, he worked hard for the money he earned and didn't spend what he didn't have. He knew how to take care of the people he loved.     Haa. I love this. It reminds me when my friends and I went and saw this movie in the theater. It was me, 4 of my friends and a total of 7 people in the entire theater. Again, thats 7 total including the group of 4 I was with. Good times.
