Ghost House Pictures has posted a brief video clip of David Slade, director of 30 Days of Night, giving his thoughts about the pre-production of the upcoming horror film.

Based on the Steve Niles graphic novel, the film stars Josh Hartnett and Melissa George.

In a sleepy, secluded Alaska town called Barrow, the sun sets and doesn't rise for over thirty consecutive days and nights. From the darkness, across the frozen wasteland, an evil will come that will bring the residents of Barrow to their kness. The only hope for the town is the Sheriff and Deputy, a husband and wife who are torn between their own survival and saving the town they love.

Columbia Pictures will release 30 Days of Night on October 19, 2007.

30 Days of Night was released October 19th, 2007 and stars Josh Hartnett, Melissa George, Danny Huston, Ben Foster, Mark Boone Junior, Mark Rendall, Amber Sainsbury, Manu Bennett. The film is directed by David Slade.
