David Richmond-Peck Is Gammons in The A-Team
Richmond-Peck originally tested for the role of the main villian in the film before grabbing the role he has now. The script's plot has The A-Team hailing from the war in the Middle East as opposed to the Vietnam War. But the premise will remain the same as the television series, which sees four war vets wrongly accused of armed robbery that escape military prison to become an elite band of do-good mercenaries. Liam Neeson has been cast as Col. John "Hannibal" Smith, with Bradley Cooper confirmed as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck and Rampage Jackson confirmed as B.A. Baracus. Though Howling Mad Murdock has yet to be cast, sources indicate that District 9's Sharlto Copley is looking to take over the role.
The A-Team begins shooting September 14th in Canada.
The A-Team was released June 11th, 2010 and stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Quinton Jackson, Sharlto Copley, Patrick Wilson, Gerald McRaney, Henry Czerny. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan.
