In a story from Variety, it looks like David O. Russell might possibly be directing Matthew McConaughey in The Grackle for New Line Cinema.

In the screenplay by Mike Arnold and Chris Poole, McConaughey plays a rough and tumble street fighter who, for $250, helps "settle disputes for people who can't afford to hire a lawyer."

McConaughey will be producing this film via his j.k. livin' production company.
