David Krumholtz Is Not an Inglorious Bastard... But Samm Levine Is

Another day, another bit of casting news for Inglorious Bastards. Ain't It Cool News is reporting that David Krumholtz, who was previously said to have signed on to Inglorious Bastards, will apparently not be appearing in the film, but a replacement has already been found.

Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks) has joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino's World War II epic, apparently replacing Krumholtz. It isn't quite clear which role Levine will be playing, though.

Two more key casting elements are left to slotted, though, with Tarantino still looking to fill the intregal roles of Colnel Landa and Shosana.

Production is said to begin on October 14 in Germany.

Inglourious Basterds was released August 21st, 2009 and stars Brad Pitt, Mélanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz, Eli Roth, Michael Fassbender, Diane Kruger, Daniel Brühl, Til Schweiger. The film is directed by Quentin Tarantino.

i haven't seen Levine in anything since i watched "Freaks and Geeks" (though i'm aware that he has been in other things) so to see him from that to a Tarantino movie should be... a HUGE leap

looking forward to seeing that softie get his ass kicked! (did anyone else find his character irritatingly soft? - still love the show)
