"I wanted to tip my hat to the original, but also wouldn't want it to become a cheesy cameo-fest," said Anderson. "There's obviously been, 'Oh, where's the David Carradine cameo?' It's there, and I think it's a nice thing for fans. In fact, I had a conversation with David about the movie this morning."

Err
the original was an incredibly difficult movie to watch for people who dont appreciate campiness, but if you did apprecate campiness then it was a goldmine.

Lol...the original was a travesty, cheesier than any pizza hut cheesy crust pizza. Hopefully this remake will be interesting and have much better acting.

lol, good one brunchking.... old people are worth bonus points. Can you believe that they ditched that whole part of the storyline? Running over people for points is what made that film a cult classic. Well I'm glad David is making a cameo because that's the only thing in this new version that remains true to the original.

He's over 70 now right? So he would make a great 100 point target!
