David Benioff was hired by Walt Disney Pictures to write The Gemini Man. According to Variety, the project has been kicking around for a long time. Benioff will rework the script form the ground up, giving the story a complete overhaul. David also wrote Troy and The 25th Hour.

Gemini Man is an action thriller that revolves around a washed up hit man who must fight a younger, cloned version of himself.

Jerry Bruckheimer is set to produce the film, having joined the project about nine months ago. There is no word on when the film will go before the camera.
