The "Curse of Bond" seems to have struck Bond himself. According to Daily Mail, Daniel Craig had the tip of his finger sliced off during an action sequence while filming the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

He was taken to the hospital after the morning accident, but returned to the set to resume filming in the afternoon. This was the second time Craig was injured recently. Two weeks ago, his face was cut and he required eight stitches.

The production has been riddled with mishaps since the production begain. Over the weekend a fire broke out at Pinewood studios, causing heavy damage to an exterior set for the film. Two stuntmen were injured in early April after unrelated car crashes. A British engineer crashed an Aston Mardin into Lake Garda in Italy and during the same location shoot, an unnamed stuntman suffered head injuries in another car crash.

"Some people are beginning to believe the film is jinxed," said an unidentified production team member.

Quantum of Solace is set to be released on November 7.
