Dakota Fanning Officially Joins Twilight Sequel New Moon

People Magazine has revealed that Dakota Fanning is officially a New Moon cast member. After much speculation, the young actress has decided to join the very popular franchise.

Fanning will play fifteen-year-old Jane, a sinister vampire with an angelic demeanor. Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie Hale in the film, stated, ""We did just get a script. We're shooting the rest of the films back to back."

Shooting on the Christ Weitz directed Twilight is set to begin later this month in Vancouver.
