CW Shuts Down The Beautiful Life
The series was in production on its seventh episode when production was shut down on Friday. While the series only aired two episodes, the network doesn't have any plans to air the remaining episodes that were filmed.
The series was produced by Ashton Kutcher and starred Mischa Barton, who received publicity stemming from health problems this summer before the series premiered.
It wasn't quite clear how the network would fill the vacancy as of yet, but there was speculation that the network might run a repeat of the network's new Melrose Place series in The Beautiful Life: TBL's Wednesday night slot at 9 PM.

SYNDICATE, I used to watch Star Trek The remastered Original Series, when it was on the CW. But of course everything else on it is geared toward teens with drama. Ugh!

It does not surpise me shows like The Beautiful Life: TBL is canceled. Right now the CW only has shows that only teenagers and early twenties adults that still have that teenagist in them will like. What the CW need are shows that are just as good as Dark Blue, The Unit, 30 Rock, Two And Half Men, Step By Step, Moonlighting, Flashpoint, Stargate Universe, NCIS, The West Wing, Designing Women, The Odd Couple and Benson. But they are not copycats or remakes of the original shows at all. I don't think most adults in their mid 30s to 55 watch any of the shows on the CW at all.

There are too many shows out there like this one. They're all the same. I am a fan of Gossip Girl (which is in this similar category)but even that show is lacking.

Yeah Todd. Who cares about this show anyway. Was it really even a big deal, that Movieweb had to mention it?

I tried to watch the new Melrose Place, it's a piece of garbage and a waste if time. Reboot's suck and relaunches are a waste of time, Hollywood is just a piece of s***.
As of this show who gives a darn.
