Paranormal Activity stars Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat and hits in wide release today, October 16, and possibly an even wider release on October 23.

Paranormal Activity was released September 25th, 2009 and stars Katie Featherston, Micah Sloat, Mark Fredrichs, Amber Armstrong, Ashley Palmer, Crystal Cartwright, Randy McDowell, James Piper. The film is directed by Oren Peli.

    This movie was awesome. Don't watch the trailers! They give away too much. I was so scared during this movie that when I stood up at the end I realized I had been clenching my legs haha. I was and am still impressed at how well this movie was made

    it almost seems to me like the kinda hype they did about blair witch just to get people to go see it. i remember how annoyed i was that it really sucked and that i waisted time and money to go see that trash. i wont pass judgement on this till i see it however this is not something i will spend money on. i learned my lesson the first time.

    I agree Aficionado. Except for the footsteps part. The rest seems a jumbled mess. And does it all take place in and around the bedroom?

    I'll be picking up "Drag Me to Hell" and "Night of the Creeps" for Halloween night.
