According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Tim Burton-helmed fantasy, Corpse Bride, topped the preliminary national DVD sales chart for the week ending Feb. 5. Corpse Bride beat a handful of other new theatrical releases that hit stores last week, including second-ranked The Legend of Zorro, from Sony Pictures, and 20th Century Fox's In Her Shoes. A special edition of Dune, from Universal, debuted at No. 8 on VideoScan's First Alert chart.

Buena Vista's Flightplan, the previous week's top DVD seller, slid down to No. 4, but retained its No. 1 spot on Home Media Retailing's video rental chart for the week ending Feb. 5.
