Director Duncan Bridgeman returns to the big screen with his new documentary Hecho en Mexico, which offers a look at many of Mexico's finest actors, musicians, and intellectuals today. The film debuts in Los Angeles theaters November 30, but we have a special opportunity for our L.A. readers. A special screening will be held at The Landmark Theater (10850 West Pico Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90064) in the Westside Pavilion Tuesday, November 27 at 8 PM, and we're giving away tickets for five readers and their guests. Special guests at the screening include Mexican stars such as Diego Luna, Kinky, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Amandititita, and many more. Duncan Bridgeman (1 Giant Leap, What About Me?) weaves a beautiful and rhythmic cinematic tapestry composed of original songs, conversations, reflections, wisdom and humor featuring many of the greatest performers and sharpest minds of Mexico today.

The film showcases the richness of Mexican music both young and old, from traditional music to pop rock and rap blended with interviews from Diego Luna, Lila Downs and many more leading personalities. The result is an inspiring and often funny musical road trip through modern day "Mexicanity", which resonates globally.

Hecho en Mexico was released November 30th, 2012 and stars Adanowsky, Héctor Aguilar Camín, Rubén Albarrán, Amandititita, Sergio Arau, Paco Ayala, Venado Azul, Delfines Marching Band. The film is directed by Duncan Bridgeman.
