Deep in the heart of Jakarta's slums lies an impenetrable safe house for the world's most dangerous killers and gangsters. Until now, the rundown apartment block has been considered untouchable. Cloaked under the cover of pre-dawn darkness and silence, an elite swat team is tasked with raiding the safe house in order to take down the notorious drug lord that runs it. But when a chance encounter with a spotter blows their cover and news of their assault reaches the drug lord, they find themselves stranded on the 6th floor with no way out. The unit must fight their way through the city's worst to survive their mission.

I am in love with the movie and need to have it. This was the best action film I have seen in years as it showed the desperation of the cops trying to survive in a building full of thugs and gangsters. I was really amped by all the action and stunts in this film and it was truly a beautiful and bloody good fun. Hope to win.

"The Raid" was the fresh bump I needed to see in the martial arts genre. I haven't been that invigorated by an action film since I saw "The Protector". Unfortunately, due to "The Raid's" limited release, I only saw the film once, and many of my friends were not able to check it out. I would love to have this film to get the word out about the International film market. This movie needs to be seen by so many more people! Thanks for the opportunity.

I had the LPU screening for the premiere, but that very night, I had a midterm that "I needed every minute of two hours to do." I missed it because of an exam I aced in 15 minutes. Still need to watch it, and need to watch it first before I can open that soundtrack on my shelf and enjoy!
