She's encouraged me to make the most of the obstacles in my life and to not be sorry for myself, because there are people in the world who have it so much worse then me.     I would like these prizes because, I love Bethany Hamilton. I have read the book Soul Surfer about 3 times, and I cannot get the details out of my head. I have also seen the movie around 50 times, it is the best movie I have ever seen. She is my role model, I love to surf when I go on vacation to Florida. I don't know what I would do if I got attacked by a shark. I love Bethany Hamilton because, she is brave and she always puts God first in her life. Thanks for being such an inspiration Bethany. Keep on doing what you do best!!!

They didn't see this movie in theaters, but I was truly inspired and I want to share Bethany's story with Nya and Kaila (14 and 10) so that they might examine their lifestyles and realize the opportunities in front of them.

    My little 4 year old stumbled on a book about Bethany Hamilton in the library and became enthralled with her. She had never seen a person without an arm before. She was estactic when the movie came out. If she has role models like Bethany think of what she could inspire to! My husband and I are adopting from Ethiopia and have to make 2 one week trips that will be hard on Tara. I want to leave her with a little surprise each night that we are gone to remind her how much we love her. She would love Soul Surfer items! That's why I have to win these prizes!
