Edge of Darkness

Edge of Darkness is an emotionally charged thriller set at the intersection of politics and big business. Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) is a veteran homicide detective for the Boston Police Department and a single father. When his only child, 24-year-old Emma (Bojana Novakovic), is murdered on the steps of his home, everyone assumes that he was the target. But he soon suspects otherwise, and embarks on a mission to find out about his daughter's secret life and her killing. His investigation leads him into a dangerous, looking-glass world of corporate cover-ups, government collusion and murder--and to shadowy government operative Darius Jedburgh (Ray Winstone), who has been sent in to clean up the evidence. Craven's solitary search for answers about his daughter's death transforms into an odyssey of emotional discovery and redemption.

Edge of Darkness is directed by Martin Campbell and stars Academy Award® winner Mel Gibson, Ray Winstone, Danny Huston, Bojana Novakovic ("Drag Me to Hell") and Shawn Roberts ("I Love You, Beth Cooper").

    ?

perhaps "fired up" is over-selling it a little, but you can tell he's still pretty sensitive about that whole thing.

I will definitely support Mel in anything he does. Hollywood is not the same without him. I'm tired of wannabe actors or even young actors who think they look good. Mel was, still is and will always be a box office money maker, good story teller, good actor and an honest man. Just because you speak your mind should not make you a bad person - Everyone is entitled to their opinions and beliefs - and if some people don't like let them get used to it - just like Hollywood did and will - because there's only one Mel Gibson!!!
