A Christmas Story was released November 18th, 1983 and stars Melinda Dillon, Darren McGavin, Peter Billingsley, Ian Petrella, Scott Schwartz, R.D. Robb, Tedde Moore, Yano Anaya. The film is directed by Bob Clark.

When I was kid we all stayed at my grandparents house. We had a tradition that my grandfather stuck to. We woke up to Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas record, opened presents and then all snuggled up on the couch and watched A Christmas Story. Those were great times! Now every year I remember my grandparents by watching the movie with my kids!
