When the last episode aired, I thought it was good until the second half which was drawn out and totally pointless.
I still find that something of this can be saved, like a few human survivors that didn't listen to the command to leave.
Better yet, launch a new show that tells the journey of a ship just five years prior the events.
Any how if they really want people to like the Plan then stop with direct to DVD and just put it in the theaters. Just think about the success what that would do for BSG, it'll get a lot more attention than it did on TV.
