Gandoff, how can Oliver Stone be close to the original stories' ideas when practically none of his crazy drug-fuelled script is based on them? Mutant armies? Human stews? Being set in a post-apocalyptic future instead of the distant past? Oliver Stone may have thought he was being close to the stories, but then, Oliver Stone also admitted to writing it under an awful lot of drugs.

From the visuals, it looks spot on for the original novels. It to me, looks to what Oliver Stone said he wanted to do when he wrote the first movie. If you have the special addition like I do, watch the feature on making of. Oliver said he wanted to stay close to the book's idea's and have mutants and stuff. Make Conan the sword version off Bond. Make one every 4 years or so. but never happened.

this should better be worth it...it also needs to have a comeback mode for the Creator REH since Solomon Kane was a lousy film!
