A retelling of the original Friday the 13th, this new film is sticking firmly to its horror roots. The plot follows a group of summer camp counselors that are systematically slaughtered by a mysterious killer. While at Comic-Con 2008, we caught up with the new Jason Voorhees himself, Derek Meaks, producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form and victim Amanda Righetti. Friday the 13th was released February 13th, 2009 and stars Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti, Travis Van Winkle, Aaron Yoo, Derek Mears, Jonathan Sadowski, Julianna Guill. The film is directed by Marcus Nispel.
