According to The Hollywood Reporter, Columbia has nabbed the spec script Supermax from actors-turned-writers Mitch Rouse and Christopher Nelson.

The script is being described is an action horror tale that is set in a maximum-security prison for the supernatural. The story follows a skilled prison guard who gets re-assigned to Supermax. When a riot erupts, he has to join forces with one of the prison's worst inmates in order to survive.

The deal for the property was in the mid-six-figures.
