Colin Firth, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Sam Shepard have all joined the cast of the romantic comedy, The Accidental Husband for the Yari Film Group.

The film also stars Uma Thurman, and is also producing; Isabella Rossellini, Lindsay Sloane, and Justina Machado are also part of the cast. Griffin Dunne is directing the film that revolves around Emma Lloyd (Thurman), a local talk radio host with a show about relationships; The Hollywood Reporter adds Firth will play her husband. When one of her listeners, Sofia (Machado) follows her advice and breaks up with her boyfriend (Morgan), a New York fireman, the boyfriend plans his revenge and sets Emma's life into crisis. Morgan is best known for his role as Denny Duquette on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy."

The Accidental Husband begins shooting today in New York for a 2007 release.
