In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Cody Longo has been cast in Dimension's remake of Piranha 3D.

Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes) is directing.

Longo joins a cast that includes Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Jerry O'Connell, Ving Rhames and Richard Dreyfuss.

The film follows a small community that is terrorized by flesh-eating fish. Longo will play the part of Todd Dupree, "a high school jock and self-absorbed creep."

Piranha 3D was released August 20th, 2010 and stars Richard Dreyfuss, Ving Rhames, Elisabeth Shue, Christopher Lloyd, Eli Roth, Jerry O'Connell, Steven R. McQueen, Jessica Szohr. The film is directed by Alexandre Aja.
