Codeblack Entertainment to Distribute 5 Titles Theatrically and on DVD
In a story from Variety, they report that the company has picked up 5 films that they plan to put out theatrically and on DVD.
These titles are:
The Salon starring Terrence Howard and Vivica A. Fox. The film is being billed as "an underdog comedy that reveals what women really talk about behind closed doors." The film is helmed and written by Mark Brown who also created Barbershop.
Dirty Laundry sees Rockmond Dunbar (Prison Break) playing "a gay, big-city magazine writer who seems to have a perfect life -- until a visitor brings him back to the traditional Southern family he hasn't seen in 10 years."
In Constellation, Gabrielle Union (Bring it On) portrays "a deceased family matriarch who reaches out from the beyond to help her younger brother put tragedy behind him and connect with one of his daughters."
My Brother stars Vanessa L. Williams in a film about "two brothers and the mother who sacrificed everything for them."
Lastly, Premium, sees Dorian Missick (Lucky Number Slevin) as "Reginald 'Cool' Coolidge, a struggling actor who collides with his ex-fiancee after three years apart."
