'Cloud Atlas' Photos with Tom Hanks and Halle Berry

Warner Bros. has released two new photos from Cloud Atlas, the star-studded adaptation of David Mitchell's novel from directors Andy Wachowski, Lana Wachowski, and Tom Tykwer. These photos give us our first look at Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, and Ben Whishaw in this unique tale where every actor plays multiple characters. The story spans thousands of years, showing how individual lives affect others in the past, present, and future. Here's what co-director Lana Wachowski had to say about this time-bending adaptation.

"We thought about these individual characters as aspects of larger characters. Their lives are interwoven over one big story that takes place over a thousand years."

Cloud Atlas was released October 26th, 2012 and stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, Keith David. The film is directed by Tom Tykwer, Andy Wachowski, Lana Wachowski.

    @mcleve02 A chamerlon if you will. And truly humble. My sister had a run in with him several years back and she reported that he was extremly gracious.

    I remember reading an article with him and he said something along the lines of "I have been in about 60 movies...and 5 of them are really good."

    That always struck me as a humble thing to say.
