We reported yesterday that the new comedy Date Night beat out last weekend's winner Clash of the Titans at the box office this weekend in a very close race, and it seems that the final figures prove otherwise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the final box office figures have put Clash of the Titans atop the box office for a second week in a row.

Yesterday's estimates had Date Night taking in $27.1 million and Clash of the Titans in a close second place with $26.8 million. Now the final figures reveal that Clash of the Titans actually made $26.7 million but Date Night only took in $25.2 million.

Clash of the Titans now stands at $110.2 million after 10 days in release.

Clash of the Titans was released April 2nd, 2010 and stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Flemyng, Gemma Arterton, Alexa Davalos, Tine Stapelfeldt, Mads Mikkelsen. The film is directed by Louis Leterrier.

Well said, @Tyranus. @Highcaliberinc 's post is pretty weak. Is he the only person who doesn't realize Tina Fey's talent?

i saw the movie and like is but was seriously pissed off when it ended, i remember looking at my girl and saying" that's it" i mean seriously the movie was good a little disappointing with the 3D, How to train your dragon in 3D was amazingly great so i was expecting this to raise the bar but it kinda didn't, any who i just couldn't believe how short the movie was hopefully the next one will be longer. And i have to retract some things i said about Avatar went and saw it and i have to say it surprised me alot, So for its Sci Fi category it is the best Ive seen in a long time. But The Dark Knight is still in my opinion the best movie Ive seen hands down besides the original Crow with Brandon Lee

yeah Tina Fey is just a multi emmy award winning actress/writer. And while her work lacks Sam Worthington's homemade hero speeches like "I'm gonna go get that bitch" (about Medusa) I think we're all better off for that. I don't need Tina Fey to bash this movie either, even the actors who were in it are bashing it, in the movie itself they all look uncomfortable with the material. Both Date Night and Clash are in the same category of inspidly entertaining movies, but there is a difference between a fun night at the movies and watching something as poorly made as Clash that is just hoping to garner enough curious audience members into the 3D theatre so they can make their budget back. There's you fun bad movies and the really bad movies. The trailer for Clash alone, like the one for say Eragon, was enough to show how bad it was going to be.

Saw Clash in 3D and guess what there was no f*cking 3D in it! Waste of 5 extra bucks but other than that I enjoyed it though the Kraken scene could have been longer. Seriously it was too short.

I wasn't over impress myself with the Remake of Clash of the Titans, it was lacking somthing in my opion. Sam Worthing acting was just the same has when he played Jake Sully in Avatar, or in Terminator Salvation.

I find it humurous that people can bash this movie and then use something with Tina Fey in it as an "i told you so " moment. ..really? If you don't think Clash is good, thats fine because people are entitled to their opinions.. but hey, Clash is garbage so go see Tina Fey's new movie... come on guys. Think before you post something ridiculous. -@ Tyranus

@guidotk -not too original. Maybe elaborate a little more on your comments so you don't come across as just a hater with nothing of value to say.

I saw Kick-Ass at ShoWest, and it is awesome! Can't wait to see this again. Hands down, will kick the sh*t out of Clash this weekend. Clash will drop probably 70 percent this upcoming weekend.

I hope How to Train Your Dragon continues to do good at the box office, it deserves to do very well, I'm just mad it isn't doing better than Monsters vs Aliens from last year, it's like waaaaaaay better. Even as an animation film it has all you could ask for in a movie.

the only way a sh*t fest like this could get on top is because of the extra ticket price for 3D. I haven't seen date night yet but it already looks better than Leterrier's monstrosity. Plus anything with Steve Carell and Tina Fey has got to be good.
