Clash of the Titans 2 searching for director
Many directors' names are circling, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning director Jonathan Liebesman is rising to the top of conversations.
The new director would replace Louis Leterrier, who directed the original remake Clash of the Titans, which has grossed $486.8 million worldwide since it hit theaters about two months ago.
Clash of the Titans 2 will be filmed in 3D. The studio is planning production when star Sam Worthington becomes available after Avatar 2, which shoots later this year.
Wrath of the Titans was released March 30th, 2012 and stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Édgar Ramírez, Toby Kebbell, Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Danny Huston. The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

I liked the 80s classic and this new one did lack in story by flip flopping who did what and when, but the action way cooler then the 80s. Now the studio has to go on a script that was never been made. I would be willing to see how fare WB would takes one.

As long as they can get a good story for the sequel it wouldn't be a bad idea. But as for Jonathan Liebesman directing the sequel that is just a terrible idea. I don't think he has ever directed a good movie in his life. And Avatar won't be filming this year. Don't know where that came from. Probably won't start filming til late next year or early 2012.

I did like what Liebesman did with TCM:Beginning. Provided a great underrated back story to that frnachise. COT2 would kinda be a big step up tho.

the first one in my opinion was poorly written, i mean come on their is so much you can do with this and i felt it didn't live up to its potential, and i totally agree the final battle/climax was so weak and short, seriously i hope the second one is better cause unless i hear nothing but good things im not gonna waste another dollar on this film

Sick what the hell are they gonna market the movie with?? last time they marked the movie and all the trailers and teasers with KRAKEN and it appeared for just seconds and booob its gone,.. We need a long and epic climax,.. guys pls support me and write comments, coz I felt really disappointed with the climax being so so so damn short.
