Jonathan Liebesman directing Clash of the Titans 2 for Warner Bros.
Battle: Los Angeles director Jonathan Liebesman has signed on to direct Warner Bros. upcoming sequel Clash of the Titans 2, according to Heat Vision Blog.
We reported back in June that Jonathan Liebesman was one of the directors being considered to replace original Clash of the Titans director Louis Leterrier. The site reports that negotiations had been ongoing throughout the summer and that they hope to overcome the negative reactions to the first film, despite its $491 million worldwide gross. The film will be shot in 3D, as opposed to the rushed post-production conversion job on Clash of the Titans.
Dan Mazeau (The Flash) and David Johnson (Red Riding Hood) are writing the script for the sequel, based on a treatment written by Greg Berlanti (Green Lantern), Dan Mazeau and David Johnson.
Sam Worthington and Gemma Arterton are both expected to reprise their lead roles for Clash of the Titans 2. Our original report from June indicated that Warner Bros. was eyeing a January 2011 start date for Clash of the Titans 2, but that date may change.
We'll be sure to keep you posted with any more Clash of the Titans 2 news as soon as more information comes in.
Wrath of the Titans was released March 30th, 2012 and stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Édgar Ramírez, Toby Kebbell, Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Danny Huston. The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

Thank god they got rid of him. He made a mess out of it.
Gemma F'ing Arterton. God, I'm really starting to dislike her.

Goodbye
@Birddiggler:I am in agree completely.Thats why the movie was so crappy because they didnt stick to the the story of Perseus(Sorry if I spelled the name wrong).Thats also what irked me about Percy Jackson and the Olympians.I've read the books and the first part did not have a single bit of the book in it.

this is what pisses me off about Hollywood! this movie should have been 160-180 minutes long! been an EPIC that a movie studio should be proud of and be remembered for all time. but NO lets get about half the story right to the telling of the mythological tale. then give it a limited budget and make it only 106 minutes long and if does good will make a sequel and make more money. it should have been done right the first time!
the remake was good but it could have been a lot better if the movie execs weren't so stoopid and spent the money right the first time and made it an "EPIC" instead of a little above average movie!

What?! This is ridiculous. This movie doesn't deserve a sequel, it didn't even deserve a remake. Even the original wasn't even that good. The problem is there was never much to work with.

A sequel is unnecessary, heck the remake was even more unnecessary and it sucked. So, not really lookin' forward to this.
