The New Adventures of Old Christine's regular Clark Gregg has joined the cast of Thor, set to reprise his Agent Coulson character from Iron Man.

According to Variety, the character is the latest to appear in multiple Marvel productions as the comicbook company's film division preps for the eventual production of The Avengers, which unites Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Captain America and Thor in one film.

Gregg's Agent Coulson also will return in the upcoming Iron Man 2.

Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh, stars Chris Hemsworth as the hammer-wielding Norse god, as well as Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellen Skarsgard and Kat Dennings.

Thor was released May 6th, 2011 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan SkarsgÄrd, Kat Dennings, Clark Gregg, Idris Elba. The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh.
