CinemaNow's Download-to-Burn Service Launches Today

CinemaNow advanced the "download-to-burn" cause a great deal today.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, the company "made it possible for consumers to legally burn downloaded movies -- complete with other elements of commercially produced product such as menus and bonus content -- that can be played on standard DVD players."

The service comes to us with 100 films "from Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Lionsgate, MGM Worldwide Digital Media, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Universal Studios Home Entertainment, EagleVision and Sundance Channel."

Some of the movies currently available to download are Barbershop and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

More titles are going to added as the service becomes bigger said CinemaNow CEO Curt Marvis.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle was released June 27th, 2003 and stars Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, Bernie Mac, Crispin Glover, Justin Theroux, Robert Patrick, Demi Moore. The film is directed by McG.
